Playwrights Foundation supports and empowers playwrights' artistic growth and careers while championing their voices on a national level. Founded in 1976, our programming includes the annual Bay Area Playwrights Festival, Resident Playwrights Initiative and producing partnership with with local and national theatres on alumni new work.
