We are Delete and our service is to help customers remove junk or take donation items to a local donation center (Salvation Army, Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity, etc.). Items that cannot be donated are sorted so that we maximize what we recycle and minimize what we dump.
Friends of Jackson Park
Friends of Jackson Playground is a group of neighbors who want to come together to improve and maintain the park.
Potrero Boosters Neighborhood Association, The
Dedicated to protecting and improving the district known as Potrero Hill. We review and study zoning, planning, improvement and development programs to promote the best interests of the Hill.
Potrero Hill Archives Project
Dedicated to recording interviews with longtime Hillers and collecting historic photos since 1986. Since 2000, the annual Potrero Hill History Night in late October has consistently drawn a large crowd.
Potrero Hill Democratic Club
One of the City’s largest neighborhood Democratic clubs, dedicated to strengthening the political voice of Potrero Hill through active participation in the electoral process.
Potrero Hill Neighborhood House
Affectionately referred to as the NABE, offering youth programs for ages 5-18, substance abuse and anger management treatment, and senior activities. Rental space available for community meetings, parties, and events.
Potrero View, The
Free monthly newspaper serving the Dogpatch, Mission Bay, Potrero Hill and South of Market neighborhoods since 1970. Deadline for advertising listings and/or copy is the 18th of each month.
SCRAP
A Source for the Resourceful
SCRAP diverts more than 250 tons of reusable supplies from the waste stream annually. These materials end up in the hands of teachers and artists, and on the shelves of our Creative Reuse Center, which is open to the public 6 days a week.
St. Teresa of Avila
A warm, welcoming, inclusive Roman Catholic Faith Community, served by the Carmelites. St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church has been serving the Potrero Hill community since 1880.
Starr King Open Space
Located on the south side of Potrero Hill, Starr King Open Space was deeded to the neighborhood in 1984. It is not maintained by the city; it is owned and maintained by the people of Potrero Hill and has been reclaimed as a serpentine grassland.
